Penned by the world-renowned designer Raymond Loewy, the 1950 P-38 Lightning-inspired 'bullet-nose' range were undoubtedly the most controvertial, and successful, Studebakers ever made. This ultra-rare factory right hand-drive V8 Commander Cabriolet was made for the export market and bought in Malaysia before it was shipped to Australia by a returning serviceman. After changing hands several times the V8 was left to rot in a paddock before being discovered in the Eighties and lovingly restored back to its former glory. It's believed to be the sole remaining example in Australia, and one of the few genuine right hand-drive cars left in the world
