Car: Chevrolet Firenza CanAm Location: Australia Built in 'Seth Efrika' of all places, the Chevrolet CanAm has to be one of the most outrageous cars ever made. The brain child of legendary SA touring car racer Basil van Rooyen, the CanAm was a homologation car built to take on the mighty Perana Capris in the local tintop champs. Basically just a Vauxhall Viva with a 300bhp Chevy V8 shoehorned in the front with a alloy spoiler nailed on the back, only 100 were made to qualify the car for competition. Unsurprisingly, very few remain.
